"I've been taking pictures
my whole life. I can’t remember exactly when or
why I became a photographer; it’s simply who I've always
been."
Travelling the world working as a journalist,
event planner, photographer and publicist, Paula Turner has covered
dozens of events. From the inaugural Women’s World Cup to New
York City on 9/11, she has captured moments in history with her photography.
The amazing thing is, Paula will work just
as hard to record a national event as she will to capture your two-year-old's
latest trick. Her strength is people. She reads them quickly and captures
their true spirits. This skill is conveyed in her work with real people
and places, often capturing a moment noone even realized was happening.
An award-winning photojournalist, her pictures
and writing have been published in several magazines and newspapers.
Today she teaches a variety of workshops and classes including the
largest high school photojournalism workshop in the country. Her formal
training brings wisdom to portraits and event work with a focus on
environmental photography and natural lighting.
A Michigan native and former New Yorker,
Paula now calls Metro Detroit home. She is constantly thrilled and honored
to share with families as they capture special moments in time. Ecstatic,
romantic, or ridiculous... Paula's photography ensures that your memorable
moments are never forgotten. |
